We are happy to present our equestrian shop and our online shop. This riding shop has existed since 2010 and was taken over by Antje Matzen in spring 2018. The shop was redesigned with great attention to detail and creativity and can certainly be seen as a top address in the north of Schleswig-Holstein. Every leisure rider and also dressage and show jumping athletes will find excellent shopping on the 600m² shop area. Our absolute strength is a friendly, competent and solution-oriented team, which faces every challenge.
Even as a child, Antje Matzen was enthusiastic about horses and equestrian sports. It is therefore not surprising that enthusiasm has become a mission. In 2008 she successfully passed the examination for the equestrian master in Neustadt / Dosse. Then the move to Schleswig-Holstein took place. Since life is too exciting to sit comfortably in it, Antje Matzen looked for a new challenge. The desire to have an own riding shop grew day by day and was fulfilled in spring 2018 with the opening of Reitsport Matzen. There Antje Matzen is now at the side of all equestrian and horse lovers with all their knowledge, competence and experience. Not currently active in the saddle due to lack of time, but she doesn't want to miss the closeness to the horses and the smell of fresh hay and straw. For this reason Antje Matzen runs a hobby dressage pony breeding. From this breed some offspring have already qualified for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf, which shows the quality of the breed. Whatever Antje Matzen does, she does it successfully!
